Lee Welch is a freelance writer and editor with 15 years experience in the production of promotional material, feature stories and websites in food, tourism and the arts. She has written for Australian Gourmet Traveller, australian good taste and the SA Tourism Commission has self-published two cookbooks of her own. She has run her freelance business, The Write Alternative, since 1995. Lee’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Library Studies), and a Diploma in Journalism. She will complete her Graduate Diploma in Gastronomy in 2010.

The Write Alternative is offering applicants a preferential rate of $90/hr to assist with application development for the Awards, including assistance with preparation, editing, layout and final proofing.
