A record number of 486 guests attended the Awards Presentation Gala Dinner at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 10 November 2006.
Themed as ‘Sheer Brilliance’ the Adelaide Convention Centre was transformed into a gala banquet setting where white clothed long tables were immersed in gleaming colours of bright blue, orange and pink. Brilliant white light illuminated from diamond shaped centrepieces and highlighted the shimmering diamond shaped mirrors that ran the length of the tables.
Sheer fabric drops separated the official Awards presentation area with the funky bar area, aptly named the Kudos Club.
Black and white diamond shaped dance floors made a feature of the stage area while intimate lounge areas complete with elaborate crystal light shades framed the area.
A sumptuous four-course meal featuring the finest South Australian produce was served matched to a selection of Petaluma wines.
Guests enjoyed entertainment by the talented Peter Byrne who belted out some favourite Neil Diamond tracks. Popular local Adelaide DJ, Brad Coles then kept the crowd on their toes.

As the evening grew to a close each guest received a unique package of South Australian Olive Oil generously donated by Steve Pantelos from Olive Co.
