SARDI exisits to deliver robust scientific solutions for primary industries. From the sea and the land to the market, our scientists are driven to translate results into opportunities to position food, fibre and bioscience industries as internationally competitive and ecologically sustainable.

SARDI connects with the South Australian food industry, working with FOOD SA to deliver the Food Technology and Graduate Access Programs. The Food Innovation and Food Safety groups work with individual businesses and industry associations to add value to food products to improve post-harvest handling, to solve market access issues, and to limit the food safety risk for South Australian food businesses
