San Remo, headed by Maurice Crotti, is an outstanding inductee into the South Australian Food Industry Hall of Fame.

A wholly owned South Australian company since its foundation in 1936 by Luigi Crotti, it has successfully grown with the times whilst maintaining its strong South Australian base. It produces over 50% of all pasta made in Australia, has in excess of 40% Australian market share and successfully exports to 35 countries, including Italy!

It is an exemplary example of “from the paddock to the plate”, contracting South Australian wheat growers to produce the prized Durum wheat to the company’s specifications and quality requirements.

It has an outstanding processing centre, incorporating Research & Development facilities, enabling innovative production of a wide range of pasta products in response to consumer needs.

San Remo is a significant contributor to the State Food Plan, is a model corporate citizen, delivering on economic, social and environmental values.
