Steven Marafiote is the Managing Director of Australia Quality Plus, a new export company trading to Middle Eastern Markets. At 31, Steven has developed a customised world-class demand chain service system that enhances South Australia’s export competitiveness and has excelled in growth over the last few years. Steven is the Vice Chairperson for the SA Chapter of the Australian Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI) and has a Bachelor of Commerce.

The judges were very pleased with Steve's demonstration of leadership qualities shown through his work, his involvement with the community and the balance between his personal and work life.

Steve has a very positive attitude towards South Australia, and has clearly shown this in his leadership in promoting the State as an attractive place to base a business, live and work.

His long-term vision in business, and more importantly his investment in people through coaching and leading by example is clear expression of his leadership qualities.
