Specialising in handmade white mould cheeses and seasonal varieties made from goat and cow milk cheeses, Woodside Cheesewrights was established in 1993. Selling to every State in Australia and restaurants, food service, gourmet shops, department stores and farmers’ markets, Woodside Cheesewrights also supply to Qantas for domestic business and first class. Value-adding the whole way through the chain and producing 50 to 60 tonnes of cheese, they have experienced growth of 21% in the last financial year and employ 7 FTEs.

Woodside Cheesewrights is a business developed and managed with enthusiasm, energy and passion. It has developed as a key niche specialist cheese business and been a strong leader, supporter and benchmark in the recent development of the high value cheese industry in South Australia to the point where import replacement of specialist cheese from traditional countries is becoming a reality. Woodside Cheesewrights are an Artisan cheesemaking business where creativity is reflected in the product development strategy while attention is also focussed on product quality, business sustainability and growth.
